The name of this wonderful fruit comes from the Indian. The Spaniards brought it to America and today Peru exports a large amount of its mango production to various countries around the world such as: Europe, United States, Canada, Japon, China and Saudi Arabia.
We get mango from our small farmers of San Lorenzo valley where the tropical weather of this region makes it the best place to harvest mangoes.
The Peruvian fresh mango season (2019-2020) culminated with exports of 233,000 tons, an qincrease of 37% compared to the 170,000 tons shipped in the previous season (2018-2019).
